CEED assists small business owners and entrepreneurs in all aspects of business, from our Business Planning and Development series, to our Microloan program , where we offer non traditional loans funded by the SBA. Our women's initiatives include the Michigan Women's Business Council and the Michigan Women's Marketplace, Michigan's premier online women's business community. We also host the largest women's business conference in the state annually.
EXCEL! Grand Rapids offers start-up and advanced business skills training. They concentrate on the established woman business owner who is ready to expand her business. They offer classes in Grand Rapids as well as in surrounding areas.
EXCEL! Midwest Women Business Owners Development Team
EXCEL! Detroit is managed by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO Detroit Chapter). They provide the following training programs: Bank Loan Seminar; Business Partnerships - Settling the Power Struggle; Are you an Entrepreneur?; Marketing Basics; Finance Series - Part 1; Writing a Business Plan; Finance Series - Part II. They offer counseling and mentoring through NAWBO members.
