The South Carolina Center for Asian Studies was established in 1994 as a focal point for promoting research, teaching, and service on international and cross-cultural issues and problems in Asia. Over the years, the Center for Asian Studies has sponsored conferences, invited distinguished scholars, arranged and sponsored field trips, and recruited talented students. It has also initiated and sustained a number of important collaborative research and exchange agreements with academic centers throughout Asia.

The Chinese Cultural and Education Center (CCEC) is a non-profit organization that serves both as a resource for Chinese culture and educational related programs as well as international business projects. They strive to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between Chinese and non-Chinese speaking communities. They work to help bridge the gap between USA and China through cross cultural education, and training and consulting programs for students, educators, private and public organizations.

Greenville Chinese Culture Association, formerly known as Greenville Chinese Association, was founded in 1974. Their mission is to promote cultural, educational and understanding and foster social activities among people of Chinese origin and people interested in the Chinese culture. GCCA offers basic Chinese classes all year round, and also offer folk dance, Chinese chess, Chinese instrument, and a variety of other Chinese culture education lessons.
