Asian Women In Business's 16th Annual Leadership Awards Dinner celebrated the accomplishments of not only AWIB, but also recognized the leadership of seven extraordinary women.

Many supporters of AWIB filled the Grand Ballroom. Corporate sponsors, small business owners, members of AWIB, and community leaders await the awardees.

Angela Sun, Chief of Staff to the President & CEO for Bloomberg, advises other Asian Women to be "open to possibilities and opportunities right in front of you."


The audience was riveted as Phoebe Yee, Vice President of Design for Related Companies, explained how important confidence is. "Never go into a situation thinking you do not belong."

JJ Falk, Managing Principal of JJ Falk Design LLC, hopes women entrepreneurs "try to break out of the stereotypical characteristics associated with Asian Women."

Dolly Oberoi, CEO of C² Technologies, Inc., accepting her award from AWIB President, Bonnie Wong.

Guests listened intently as Ann Harakawa, Principal at Two Twelve, recounted the obstacles she has overcome and credits her success to being resilient.

Dr. Marie Jhin, CEO & Senior Dermatologist at Premier Dermatology, drew laughs from the attendees as she shared her story of success.

"This event provided a platform to meet other beautiful, smart, strong, experienced women who can inspire and guide young entrepreneurs like me," beamed Rebecca Dean, President of Tiny Tots Therapy, Inc.
