CM Peter Koo & Asian Women In Business 
to Host Workship to Support Business Opportunities 
for Minority/Women Business Owners

 

Flushing, NY (July 16, 2010) - Council Member Peter Koo will join with Asian Women In Business (AWIB) and community leaders to host an upcoming workshop designed to assist entrepreneurs looking for new opportunities to sell their products/services by becoming certified as a minority or women-owned business for government contracts.  This workshop, which is part of overall efforts to expand procurement opportunities to women- and minority-owned businesses, is free and open to the public.  Advance registration is required and is on a first-come-first-served basis.  Register online at www.awib.org/events
