Born to Lead: Empowerment in the New Decade

New York, NY (June 28, 2010) - Asian Women In Business (AWIB) will hold its Annual Corporate Asian Women’s Leadership Conference – Born to Lead: Empowerment in the New Decade on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Goldman Sachs, 32 Old Slip, New York, New York.

The evening will commence with a networking reception where attendees can meet likeminded corporate women spanning all industries, followed by a panel discussion/Q&A session featuring four (4) successful Asian women corporate executives. The topic of the evening’s discussion will be how to utilize the achievements, lessons learned and skills of the featured Asian women panelists as a springboard for continued success for Asian women working in Corporate America in the new decade. These Asian women leaders will share from their wealth of experience to encourage and embolden up and coming Asian women.

This year’s distinguished panelists are:

- Neeti Bhalla, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs
- Anne Chow, Senior Vice President, Premier Client Group, AT&T
- Millie Kim, Esq., General Counsel, Citi Investments
- Elaine Sun, Managing Director, Corporate Advisory, Evercore Partners

Alina Cho, Anchor, CNN, will serve as the evening’s moderator. There is a suggested donation of $35, fully tax deductible under IRS 501(c)(3), which will go to the Asian Women In Business Scholarship Fund. The AWIB Scholarship Fund was created in 2006 to promote leadership and celebrate excellence in Asian women college students.
