Mastering the Art of Public Speaking and Presentations

New York, NY (April 8, 2010)—Asian Women In Business is hosting a workshop on effective public speaking titled, “Speak Up and Speak Out: Mastering the Art of Public Speaking and Presentations”.  The workshop will be held at Microsoft, 1290 Avenue of the Americas, 6th Floor (Radio City Conference Room) on Thursday, April 15th from 6:00-9:00pm.

Do you want to learn how to speak with confidence and ease while maximizing your impact in a business meeting or in a formal presentation?  The AWIB workshop has a practical emphasis on various aspects of public speaking, including how to think critically, manage nervousness, and deliver professional speeches.

Public speaking expert, Nicole Wells of NWK Consultants will lead this workshop and will discuss the necessary skills to deliver an effective, powerful public message. During this three-hour interactive learning experience, attendees will have an opportunity to practice new skills, receive constructive feedback and further develop techniques to make the next speaking event an effortless experience. By the end of the program, attendees will have strategies they can use to communicate with impact and increased credibility.                         

Reservations are required by going online or calling AWIB at (212) 868-1368. The fee is $20 for AWIB members and $45 for non-members. This workshop is always sold out and participants must register early to guarantee a seat. Light refreshments will be served.
