Asian Women In Business Women's
History Month Celebration and New Jersey Chapter Kick-Off
New York, NY (March 8, 2010) – Asian Women In Business (AWIB) will celebrate Women’s History Month and the kick-off of the much anticipated New Jersey Chapter at a networking reception on Monday, March 8, 2010. The event will be held at Prudential, 751 Broad Street, Newark, NJ, at 6:00 pm.
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, AWIB is proud to launch a New Jersey chapter, making it more convenient for New Jersey residents to participate in AWIB’s extensive programs for entrepreneurs and professionals. The chapter grows out of AWIB’s 15 year tradition of providing innovative programming, which has served over 27,000 women and minorities, where professional workshops, learning opportunities, networking activities, and much more are offered.
With a proven track record in delivering targeted programs that empower Asian women, AWIB has been defined as the organization of choice for entrepreneurs and professionals seeking to maximize growth opportunities. AWIB’s strong presence in the community and proactive approach in assisting Asian women set the groundwork for the new chapter to respond to the unmet needs of the growing Asian American population in New Jersey.
The March 8th reception is open to business owners and professionals looking to network with their peers, explore new skills-building opportunities, and learn more about joining the AWIB community.
Asian Women In Business (www.awib.org) is the only nonprofit organization in the country with the primary mission of assisting Asian women entrepreneurs. Over the years, AWIB has expanded its mission to address issues affecting the business and professional development of Asian women. AWIB sponsors conferences, workshops and seminars on a variety of business topics and holds frequent networking activities to enable members to make important business contacts.
