Starting Your Business 101:
Series on Small Business Ownership

 

New York, NY (February 6, 2009) - Asian Women In Business will conduct a four-week series on small business ownership – ‘Starting Your Business 101’. The classes will be held on four consecutive Wednesdays – March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, 6 PM – 8 PM – at Microsoft, 1290 Avenue of the Americas (corner of 52nd Street), 6th Floor, New York City.

The Starting Your Business 101 series is one of AWIB’s most popular workshops. It takes a comprehensive look at all aspects of setting up and managing a business. For those looking to hone their business skills or preparing to start a business, this four-week series is a must-attend. The topics that are covered during the four-week series are: ‘Writing a Business Plan’, ‘Legal Structures and Tax Issues’, ‘Marketing Fundamentals’, and ‘Financing & Insurance’ respectively.

The Business 101 series has consistently received rave reviews. Besides the access to a wealth of information from speakers, attendees have used the sessions to get their questions answered as well as network with fellow budding entrepreneurs to share ideas and solicit constructive feedback.

Registration is $15 per class or $30 for the four-class series for AWIB members and $25 per class or $75 for the series for non-members. Seating is limited. Registration with payment must be received by March 2nd for the Series Special Rate. Priority will be given to those signing up for the entire series.
