Smart Networking

New York, NY (January 21, 2009) - Asian Women In Business (AWIB) will host an interactive workshop, “Smart Networking,” where participants will learn how to maximize their networks exponentially and practice proven techniques in effective networking. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 28th from 6:00pm -9:00pm at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, 1285 Avenue of the Americas Concourse Level (Between 51st & 52nd Sts) New York, NY 10019.

Love it or hate it, effective networking is an important skill that can open doors and lead you to many opportunities. Whether you are looking for a job, new clients or just want to expand your professional network, this workshop will teach you the key ingredients for developing a strong network base. “Smart Networking”, an interactive workshop, includes a wine and cheese reception and a "speed networking" session to allow participants to practice their newly acquired skills in effortless networking.

This lively event will be facilitated by Liz Lynch, founder of the Center for Networking Excellence and author of Smart Networking: Attract a Following in Person and Online. She offers a unique opportunity to learn important methods, while having meaningful interactions with fellow participants and offering constructive feedback.
