The AWIB Scholarship is awarded to exceptional Asian women who demonstrate a commitment to scholarship, leadership, community service, and/or entrepreneurship. The 2008 winners were each awarded a $2,500 scholarship and 2 round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines.

To encourage the young female leaders of tomorrow, AWIB hosted Leading with Confidence, a two hour interactive workshop aiming to cultivate and hone leadership skills. It was followed by a networking reception and awards presentation. The event was held at Con Edison. View event photos.
