Tesla Test Drive and Chocolate Tasting

Enjoy the ultimate in luxury! Test drive a Tesla in Manhattan and meet the AWIB crowd over a Tache Artisan Chocolate ( tasting. The Tache handcrafted chocolates, made with the finest ingredients, will be paired with sparkling water.

Tesla's sustainable transport, with a full range of increasingly affordable electric cars, will be on hand for all of us to experience 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. There are three Tesla vehicles available to us for the test drive, each car has one driver and two passengers. Appointments are in 20 minute intervals and we ask that you select one of two windows: 6:00 to 7:00 pm or 7:00 to 8:00 pm; and tell us whether you want to be the driver or one of the passengers.  Staff will contact you to set up the exact time. Due to limitations in space and the compactness of the schedule, we would appreciate 5 days notification if you cancel.

Drivers must have a valid license and be over the age of 21. This event is for AWIB members. Registration is required and will close on September 12th or when the maximum has been reached.

Running a Successful Restaurant Business &
Korean BBQ Dinner

A panel of food service business experts will tell us what it takes to run a successful restaurant and discuss navigating the numerous requirements particular to New York City. We are pleased to feature the owner of Miss Korea, a serial entrepreneur, who will share an upfront and personal vision on how she started her many restaurants; and what she has done to make her business thrive in the competitive West 32nd Street restaurant scene. Her highly rated Miss Korea has been described as a chic, zen-like, barbecue, bulgogi & hot pot temple.

Besides learning about the 'ins and outs' of the restaurant business, we will have a wonderful Korean BBQ dinner paired with soju and sake. Traditional Korean dishes such as japchae, samsek jeon, mandu, sawoo, bulgogi, galbi, ojingeo bokkeum, sinseollo and more will be served that evening.   Registration will open soon.
