AWIB is hosting an Asian themed potluck dinner for members only (and their guests). Each attendee (including your guest) is asked to bring a dish enough for 4-5 people or if you don’t have the time, you can just pay $20 (each) and we’ll do the rest.

The AWIB Procurement Opportunities Conference fosters partnerships for minority and women-owned businesses. Now in its 11th year, the Procurement Conference has become the premier event for small businesses in the tri-state area. It is designed to help minority and women owned firms grow in an increasingly competitive business environment.
Small business owners will meet with over 40 government agencies and regional authorities at our extensive exhibition area as well as meet one-on-one with over 20 Fortune 1,000 companies during our corporate matchmaking sessions (for pre-qualified vendors). The conference also includes industry expert-led panel discussions, which offer valuable insight into the procurement process. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make the connections that will help propel your business forward.
AWIB Small Business Members are eligible for an exhibition table to showcase their products and/or services. As an exhibitor, you can network with government and corporate buyers as well as the many small business owners in attendance. Attending the conference is free, but an RSVP is required by May 30, 2014.
To qualify for private appointments with Corporations, you must be a business owner (MWBE certification is not required but recommended) and complete a pre-qualification form. However, you will be matched according to product/service requested by the corporations, therefore you are not guaranteed an appointment. As always, AWIB members will receive priority and be considered for addtional appointments. We would appreciate those non-members asking for assistance to make a donation to AWIB to defray costs.
