Investing in Single & Multi-Family Real Estate – Bringing Out Your Inner Mini-Mogul
Investing in real estate is more than buying a home. Although a home is typically one of the largest investments the average investor will make, there are many other types of real estate investments which are not beyond your reach.
Where do you begin? What steps do you take to educate yourself about Real Estate? Is it for you?
A three-part series, part-one took place on October 7th and was an over view of the different types of real estate investments available and risk vs. return profiles. November 11th, our second session, took a deeper dive into Commercial Real Estate Investments. December 1st is our last session in this series and we will be discussing Single & Multi-Family Real Estate Investments. Our final session covers investing in condo developments and the mechanics of a fix-and-flip or fix-and-hold, and how shorter-term real estate investments work. We will also talk about investing in smaller multi-family and multi-use buildings and discuss how to find appropriate properties, build a team and manage risks.
Each of our sessions feature a panel of experts who will share their expertise as investors and professionals and help you decide whether a real estate investment path suits your risk profile.

It is that time of the year again when we gather for a merry evening of feasting, networking, and celebrating the end of a good year. For our 2015 party, we have a grand space at a West Village gallery with a holiday themed art exhibition. For your tasting enjoyment, we will have a variety of food and liquid stations. Enjoy dishes by Mokbar, Momokawa, Vanessa's Dumpling House, Yunnan BBQ and more. Our liquid stations will have Joto Sake, Royal King Chinese Tea, Teeling Irish Whiskey, Tiger Beer and Wine for the World; and sommeliers and masters will guide your experience as we do pairings with Asian cuisine.
We are pleased to feature Rose Jia, Founder of Whiskey Me Up, who will be teaming up with Teeling Irish Whiskey to conduct a tasting to find your whiskey persona.
