Korean Feast with Soju & a Presentation on the
Restaurant Business

Our panel of professionals will cover important issues particular to the Big Apple and what it takes to run a successful restaurant. We are pleased to feature the owner of miss Korea (www.misskoreabbq.com/), a serial entrepreneur, who will share an upfront and personal vision which has made her business thrive in the competitive K-Town NYC restaurant scene. Her highly rated miss Korea has been described as a chic, zen-like, barbecue, bulgogi & hot pot temple.

Besides learning about the restaurant business, we will have a multi-course Korean feast paired with soju. Traditional Korean dishes such as japchae, samsek jeon, mandu, sawoo, bulgogi, galbi, ojingeo bokkeum, sinseollo and more will be served. This event is ideal for those interested in the food business as well as foodies looking to try a highly rated restaurant.  Registration required. View Invitation to event.

Featured speakers:

Sophia Lee, Founder and President of miss Korea
Andrew Rigie, Executive Director of the NYC Hospitality Alliance

Keys for a Cause and Cocktails at Tiffany

Join us for an evening of luxury where we will sip champagne, taste French passed hors d'oeuvres, learn about diamonds from a gemologist, view the art of jewelry engraving and go deeper into valuing watches.  We will be surrounded by the beauty of the Tiffany store, making it easy to appreciate the magnificent collections housed in everyone's favorite place.  Our friends at Tiffany have hosted AWIB multiple times for exclusive receptions, and if you have not yet attended (and even if you have), this is not to be missed. There is also a chance to win Tiffany treasures and support AWIB.

All proceeds go towards the AWIB Scholarship Fund which promotes the leadership of Asian women undergraduates.  AWIB Members get priority reservations. Non-members/non-supporters may be placed on the wait list.
