AWIB Annual Leadership Awards Ceremony and Dinner

On an annual basis, AWIB honors outstanding Asian women business owners and corporate executives for their success and leadership in the business world and role as champions in the community. Each year, a nationwide search for these leaders are made and an impressive and inspiring group of women are brought to public attention.  The 2013 Leadership Dinner will take place on October 21,  2013 - more information will be available in the spring.

We are now accepting nominations for the 2013 AWIB Corporate and Entrepreneurial Leadership Awards.

The AWIB Corporate Initiative
AWIB's corporate initiative is designed to support corporate and professional Asian women. Hundreds of Asian women have thronged to our leadership forums to learn, ask questions and network. Featured speakers represent the top minds from across corporate America, making it a quality experience for participants. We have partnered with various major corporations to bring our Born to Lead forum to you.  Check back for information on the 2013 event.

The AWIB Scholarship Fund

Procurement Opportunities
AWIB sponsors a procurement opportunities conference which not only provides information on the processes but also matches pre-qualified minority and women-owned businesses with corporate buyers. This conference is an excellent way to meet government representatives and corporate buyers, in a unique environment that facilitates B2B networking. On an ongoing basis, AWIB receives requests for products and services from buyers and will notify members of these opportunities. The 2013 AWIB Procurement Conference will be held on June 6th @ BNY Mellon.

Members Only
AWIB membership opens new doors. Only AWIB members have access to the Directory of Members, special members' discounts and other information conveniently located in one area on the AWIB website. Members can update their own profile and check on their membership status. We welcome our members to visit us online or, if you are in the neighborhood, at the AWIB office located in downtown Manhattan.

Resources
We have compiled various resources, including two comprehensive directories, one for business and economic organizations and the second for Asian non-profit groups. Listings can be found in almost every state and many countries. However, the directories are only as good as the information provided to us. Please check to see if your listing is current.

AWIB Mentorship Program
AWIB has a pilot project where Asian women in senior positions are serving as mentors to more junior Asian professional women. We are no longer accepting formal applications and will match mentors and mentees on a case by case basis.  Please click here for more information.
