AWIB's Successful Asian Women Entrepreneurs of 2000
The celebration at Tavern on the Green marked AWIB's Fifth Anniversary of providing programs and services to the small business community. The theme of the awards ceremony was "Celebrating Women Leaders in the New Economy". Awards were presented to successful Asian women entrepreneurs who have achieved success in the New Economy.
The night began with Cocktails at 6:00 where Moet and Chandon Champagne, Hennessy XO Cognac and a selection of white and red wines were served. The reception was followed by an elegant sit down dinner where awards were presented to some of the most successful and gifted women entrepreneurs. Two videos were made especially for the dinner. The first video, produced by Admerasia, was a brief retrospective on Asian Women In Business. The second video, produced by AsiaCentral.com, highlighted the accomplishments of the award winners.
